OUR CLIENTS Projects we've developed
Over the years Paramount Website Design (formerly ion design it from 2000 to 2010) has developed many web-based projects ranging from static online brochure websites, through websites which are more interactive, eCommerce (online shopping) to more sophisticated 'web applications', where considerable bespoke development is involved such as online booking and subscription systems.
In the very early days websites were developed as individual, separate linked pages where content (images and text) was placed on each page. Making changes and updates to this type of website was laborious and time consuming.
Since about 2003 our websites became more dynamic and interactive, using a database behind the scenes to store website content, thereby making both development and updates/modifications more manageable whilst providing a far better user experience for the website's visitors.
By 2005 all our websites were being developed using a fully database-driven, powerful Content Management System which we continue with today and which, itself, is continually being developed by us and an international community of developers to provide more sophisticated features, better interactivity and a more enjoyable user experience.
